Doors Open Day 2025 | Afternoon Concert with Kirsty

Doors Open Days is Scotland's largest free festival that celebrates places and stories, new and old.

Mossvale Church on Greenock Road opened in 1884 and has been the property of several denominations, with the current congregation worshipping here since 1975. The Mossvale Hall was added in the 1960's, and the Mossy Cafe opened in 2015. But it all began in a tenement flat in Springbank Road in 1877...

A tour of the premises with a leaflet summarising the building's history will be available. Doors Open Day activity sheets for children are also available.

The Mossy Cafe will be open from 10am selling drinks and cakes. (The first hot drink is free for ages 70 and over.)

At 2pm we will host a sing-a-long Disney concert with professional singer Kirsty Duncan. Entry to the concert is on a pay-what-you-feel basis.

As the day draws to a close - look out for our beautiful Tree of Hope, lit up in the church gardens from dusk til dawn.
